Fear is having more faith in Satan / Evil and the lies they send to us, than the promises that God has given us, along with the strength, power, and authority that Jesus showed and declared to us that we can, and do have, these same abilities that He did while he was here.
When we focus, dwell on, or entertain the negative thoughts, even for a moment without rebuking them, it opens a door that allows the things that we fear to come in and happen as Job stated, “that which I have feared has come upon me.”
However, when we “draw near to God, He will draw near to us” and as we “resist the devil, he will FLEE from us.” Resist or tell and command these fears / thoughts to leave, and just flat refuse to listen or allow these thoughts and voices to continue to torment us.
Then begin to accept and receive all the goodness of God. Dwell on the promises and stand on them, praising and thanking God for the answers, the help and all that we desire and know He has and wants for us / His children.
Remember the joy of not just receiving gifts from our parents and loved ones, but the joy that we experience when we are able to give to our children and those we love and care about. Now transfer that to our relationship with God as our father. Begin to comprehend His love for us is even more than the love we have for our children and others that matter to us.
When you can grasp these “concepts” we will begin to “feel” different about ourselves and our lives and begin to see and experience changes in our life in marvelous ways.
When we falter off our intended direction, just get back up like a child learning to walk and head back to that path by hitting the “reset” button to refocus from fear to faith.
God did not give us a spirit of fear (anger, despair, depression – fill in the blank of your torment), but of peace, joy and a sound mind. 2 Tim. 1:7
Blessings as you put Fear to Flight and begin to receive Freedom and Joy.
