There is a stigma attached to having a family member or loved one that deals with the struggles of addiction. It brings, guilt, shame, hurt, pain and unanswered questions. We often don’t understand what happened, why or how things got to where it all went wrong.
We find we are often not able to share or feel comfortable / accepted to celebrate who they really were deep inside. Those things only the ones who loved them most saw and knew. And then there is the celebration of the ones who made it “out”.
Whether they made it or they didn’t, they mattered to God and to the ones who loved them. They made a difference that maybe the world didn’t see or acknowledge but to someone they were important.
I have found one of the best ways to bring peace to our lives is through celebrating the memories of all the good that we got to experience because of them. The times spent together and the lessons they taught us through their wisdom, and the way they lived their lives, will live with us forever.
For those of you who have loved ones that are or are not with us anymore, please share who they are and what they meant to you. We will celebrate their lives together and honor how important they are to you.
This page is dedicated to honoring those who touched our lives in a special way. Use our e-mail: RaisedFromTheAshesForever@gmail.com to send me a note about the loved one you cherish and hold dear. We will share the beauty you found from their lives and your time together here on this page.
May God give you comfort and peace as you hold them in your heart.

This page is dedicated to my precious friend Jenna who has felt this pain and walks the path daily of the loss of her father too early in her life.
