Words of Wisdom that can help you change your life

Instead of the voices “in your head” making you crazy

And driving you to do thing you shouldn’t and / or don’t want to do

Let the voices in your head be YOUR voice of affirmations (statements)

And your scriptures for what you want to have or be.

Thanking God and now ready to receive

God has not given us a spirit of fear (anger, anxiety, instability, etc.)

But (now receive and have) the Spirit of Love, Joy and a Sound Mind

Don’t ever give up!

Not on the people you love!

Not on the goals and dreams you have (or had)!

Not on getting back up . . . again . . . and again . . . and again . . . !

And Most importantly:  On Yourself!

Don’t lose Hope!

Miracles do happen!

God can and will walk with us to give us the strength we don’t have – to Not give up!

My affirmations of Protection and Safety from All Evil –

Living at peace amidst the storms in my life

I am surrounded by God’s love

And know His angels watch over me

I have a hedge of protection placed around me

I now repel and send back any negative energy projected to me from others

I am safe and free to live my life in peace

My home, my car, my finances, my body, my soul and spirit Are all now placed in a circle that cannot be penetrated by any evil forces or bad intentions from others

Anything projected or aimed at or to me is now reflected back out into the universe

No long term harm can come to me

I know and believe that all things meant to hurt me or cause problems in my life – Can and will be turned into something good with God’s hand guiding the outcome

I will now rest in the “knowing” that I am loved by God and taken care of on every level.

I will not complain nor explain – I am now independent of the opinions of other people – I will not allow anyone else’s opinions to determine what is or is not possible for me.

I now release all condemnation, judgment and criticism of and for anyone who has offended me, wrongly accused me or in some way “did” something that hurt me. I give them to God and accept that they are doing the best they can at this moment in time based on their situation and “story” they are living. This does not say that I forget or accept their actions and words, It just frees me by cutting the ball and chain that I will continue to drag around with me As long as I hold on to negative feelings toward them.

I am thankful and now focus only on the positive, good, “blessings” in my life I leave the entire negative, frustrating “gunk” in my life to God I believe He is able to take care of the things I have no control over He has my “back” No matter what it looks like at this moment in time I shall rest and be at peace in the midst of my storm Accepting that “this too shall pass” I am and will be taken care of With the outcome of all things working together ultimately for my good   As I rest in knowing He has the final word Amen and Thank you Heavenly Father

Thoughts to Make Changes from Within

Eating (for me) and substitute with whatever is your “go to” ______________, is what we are trying to “give” ourselves to fill the void we are feeling in our life emotionally.

What is bothering me? or I feel I am missing?

I am not feeling loved, safe, appreciated, ______________, there are endless words to “fill in the blanks” that are limiting me and keeping me down.

When I can acknowledge that something else is going on that I need to address, I will never be able to move on to “change” my behavior and habits.

I have to begin by changing the “image” I have of myself and / or the situation(s) I am feeling or “avoiding”.

The most important step to turning my “self-sabotage” and being caught in a repetitive way of dealing with things, is to find affirmations / scriptures / thoughts / attitudes that are positive and what I want and need to replace the negativity in “my head”.

For example: (do all 3 steps in your “spoken” statement)

  • I am more than enough
  • He / she is more than enough (stated to yourself – from outside looking in – in third person)
  • You are more than enough (speaking to yourself – looking in a mirror will increase the effects of this)

God loves me and gives me the strength to do all I want and need to do

I am a very loved child of God.

I am pulling myself back out of the muddy place I was stuck in and am determined to “refocus” away from the negative, hurt and pain that has felt like balls and chains I’m dragging along.  I am going from the “muck” to a “vision” of what I want to create in my life to “fill” what has been lost.

Life is filled with changes and they can be very hard to “deal” with, especially without some “tools”, support and love from outside and also from within to ourselves. It’s not easy or fast – but oh so worth it.  And I figured out a long time ago that I’m going to have the same time spent continuing to be miserable or choosing to find joy and peace as I leave the past in God’s hands and move into another “phase”, chapter in my book called life.

Blessings and prayers as you begin your journey to raise from your ashes and rise like an eagle, soaring into new heights while changing the scenery.

Help For the addict: Placing a letter on the frig or somewhere you can see it, stating:

I’ve got this

With a heart showing – “I love and care about me”

And a picture of your children (or your reason / focus) to remind you why you’re fighting to keep going.

For the family and friends: 2 signs

Instead

Which reminds me instead of going into worry, fear, panic that I’ll be the next to get that dreaded call, I turned to

God’s got this!

Reminding myself that what I can’t do – God can and I speak that it doesn’t matter what it looks like – I believe that God’s got this so I can let it go . . . again . . . & again . . . & again

This is one of my favorite ways to approach life with all the hurt and struggles it contains.

   Words to Live By    From Mother Theresa

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;

             Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;

             Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;

             Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;

            Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;

            Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;

            Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;

           Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;

           Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God;

           It was never between you and them anyway.
